Convex expands its software track record with the sale of Appogee HR.
Convex has advised Appogee HR Limited, a leading cloud-based human resource management system and absence management tool for small and medium-sized enterprises, on its sale to The Payroll Software and Services Group (PSSG).
PSSG, backed by growth-equity tech investor Tenzing, was formed in 2019. The group specialises in providing software and outsourcing solutions for HR, payroll and business support in the UK and International markets. It has over 1,000 clients and over 220,000 employees are currently paid using its software.
Appogee HR has been developing SaaS human resource management applications since 2009. Built on the highly scalable and secure Google Cloud Platform, their web-based HR management applications are utilised by over 800 businesses across 50 countries globally.
Appogee HR software offers two packages: Appogee HR Essentials for fundamental HR management and Appogee HR Success for advanced people management.
Key system features include comprehensive leave and sickness management, time tracking against projects and activities, clock-in and clock-out functionality, advanced company document storage with version control, employee profiles and records, customisable HR reporting, work location recording, an online onboarding portal, and advanced employee performance management.
