Convex advised the Shareholders of Blinds 2go, the UK’s leading e-commerce business engaged in the sale of made-to-measure window coverings, on a sale to Hunter Douglas, the world market leader in window coverings and a major manufacturer of architectural products.
Based in Nottingham and employing 60 people, Blinds 2go was founded in 2000 by Mark Bramley and was the first specialist online blinds retailer in the UK. The Company has 2015 sales of £34m and has covered over 4 million windows in the UK, providing a blind or curtain to every street in the land.
Hunter Douglas intends to assist Blinds 2go in expanding into selected Asian markets, which presents an attractive opportunity for Blinds 2go’s unique own-branded product range.
