Lawyer Checker was founded by Chris Harris and Karen Babington in 2011 and uses intelligence, technology, and data to protect lawyers and their clients throughout the property conveyancing process. The Company is based in Tarporley, Cheshire and brings together a team of 25 legal technology experts into the Canadian listed, Dye & Durham network of companies, becoming a vital tool in D&D’s suite of technology-enabled solutions to the financial, legal and government sectors.
Lawyer Checker is best known for its conveyancing risk tool Account & Entity Screen, which verifies the legitimacy of the law firm on the other side of a transaction and all solutions are designed to protect lawyers when transmitting funds from one conveyancer to another.
