Convex advised the Shareholders of Oprema Ltd, the fastest growing distributor of CCTV, access control, intrusion, fire, and networking products in the UK, on their sale to Denmark-based EET Group A/S, further strengthening and accelerating growth in their surveillance and security segment.
Headquartered in Cardiff, Oprema was founded by Matthew Epps in 2010 and posted an approx. 29% increase in revenues to almost £24m in 2020. Oprema, having more than 50 employees, carries a broad portfolio of over 50 leading technology brands and in addition to sales and distribution of the products, applies a consultative approach offering customers pre-configuration and on-site commissioning among its services.
